1. Principle of our sniper servers;
A sniper is not a runner, not a gunner,
not a jumper! DO NOT combine running and jumping, along with
shooting your gun. If you play that way, you will be asked to change
your attitude.
Of course you can run and jump to find a good spot.
Use thought, stratagy and be patience.
A good sniper is not one with 25 frags and 35 deaths, but 25 frags,
and the smallest possible number of deaths.
The aim is to reach a good spot, to hide, camp and then shoot . .
NOT to run and hunt players down.
No special weapons, just a rifle. Use your scope to get a good close
view for one shot one kill. (headshot bonus if the player is
standing).
Sometimes during the game, it is inevetable that you will encounter
other players in a head-to-head situation. When this happens, do not
bounce around the player, or use your xloc to confuse them. Crouch
and circle the player whilst firing your rifle.
Team-Play is forbidden on the DM server, you may of course on the
TDM server.
These are the principles for our sniper server!
2. Good attitude;
AMLP Team server is a cool server for cool
players.
You have to be polite: No vulgarity, no offense to other players. Be
nice and play fair.
If your nickname is vulgar, or can be offensive to other players,
you will be asked to change it. Otherwise we will kick you out of
the game and even ban you if you do not comply.
We want a welcoming and nice server!
3. Headshot bonus!
Headshots give a bonus (2 frags, 8 bullets
and 10 health) if the player is standing.
You cannot get a headshot bonus if the player is crouched.
4. Spawn Protect;
When players first spawn, the spawn
protection allows 10 seconds of invincibility.
The player appears transparent.
During this spawn time, you cannot kill or be killed.
This time of invincibility allows the player to run and hide, this
prevents spawnkilling.
There is a message when you spawn.
There is a sound while spawn-protection is active.
There is a sound and a message at the end of your protection.
If you are under spawn-protect and shoot someone, or shoot someone
who is under the protection, a message will appear along with the
sound of breaking glass.
If you continue to shoot whilst in spawn protection or at a spawner,
you will die.
5. No Telefragging.
We have a mod in-place that makes
telefragging by 'appearing' on them and killing them, impossible. If
you do this you will explode.
However, telefragging by shooting a persons xloc several times is
still allowed!
6. Recruiting on AMLP server;
We ask all other teams to please respect
that our server is not a place to pick-up new members.
If you are found to be recruiting on AMLP team servers you will be
banned.
