The rules at AMLP are very simple. Here is a breakdown of what is and what is not acceptable on our server.

1. You shall have a nice nickname. Anything rude or racist will not be tolerated. You will be asked to change it; if you do not comply you will be kicked from the game. Continued abuse of this rule will result in a ban

2. You shall be friendly to other people playing. No swearing or cursing at other players. If you feel someone has broken the rules, you should point this out in a friendly manner. This is a game, people play it for fun. We like to think AMLP is a nice and friendly place to play. We have one of the few popular sniper servers left in UT99, so we think others agree. If you can’t be friendly or just want to “own” at all costs then go and play on one of the myriad of other empty sniper servers on your OWN.

3. No Run and Gun. We do not appreciate R&G here; there are plenty of other servers that do, so if this is your thing please find somewhere else to play. Do not come on our server and freestyle then when challenged cry "I'm a camper". We know what camping is and so do all of the regular players on AMLP. If we say you’re not camping then you’re not camping and will need to adjust your play style or leave.

4. No close revenge under any circumstances. It doesn’t matter if you spawn close to the player who just shot you, you cannot go and seek your revenge. Revenge will only be tolerated from long distance; typically this should be from across the other side of the map. At AMLP we are snipers, getting revenge from across the map like a true sniper is cool. Getting close revenge is lame and takes no skill. If you don’t agree, again please take yourself off somewhere else to play.

5. No spawn killing. The spawn protection time is to allow you to get to a spot and camp. It isn’t to be used as a weapon to get close to or get an advantage over another player. If you arrive at a spot that is already occupied whilst spawning you should leave immediately. Leave means leave! DONT go round a corner wait until you have finished spawning then return to kill the player. Also if you are at a spot and a spawning player arrives and goes to leave, let them go. They are showing good sportsmanship by leaving; you should do likewise and let them go.

6. No Image Dropping. Not allowed, don’t do it.

These rules are not negotiable and are not open to interpretation. So please don’t argue about them. AMLP pays for the server and puts the effort in to keeping it running. Consequently we get to determine the rules. If you feel you have been badly treated by a member or another player feel free to drop an email to admin@amlp.info and air your grievance.
